Loads of fun in the snow
Pure bliss on the slopes, fast-paced skating on the ice, idyllic winter landscapes: that’s how beautiful winter is in Natz. Our village is not just the perfect destination for active holidaymakers and nature lovers in summer.
Fun on skates
In Natz, you will find the perfect place to perform pirouettes, glide gracefully across the ice, or simply skate a few rounds. If the ice of the Laghetto Flötscher/Flötscher Weiher pond is thick enough, you can indulge your love of ice skating and enjoy the view of snow-clad landscapes. The small lake of the Raiermoos biotope is also ideal for ice skating. Take a deep breath of the fresh winter air and relish in the soothing silence surrounding the biotope. Another skating rink is located behind the Sportzone Laugen (sports arena). As you can see, you have plenty of opportunities to work on your ice skating moves!
Grab your skis and go!
Three ski resorts in the area give your winter holidays in Natz that extra something special: The two ski resorts Rio Pusteria/Gitschberg-Jochtal and Plose are each about 15 kilometres away from Natz and await you with numerous perfectly groomed slopes, impressive views, and lots of fun. The Plan de Corones/Kronplatz ski area can be reached in about 40 minutes by car. Here you will also find the Messner Mountain Museum Corones, which offers exciting insights into traditional Alpinism. The ski areas Monte Cavallo-Vipiteno/
Rosskopf-Sterzing and Racines-Giovo/Ratschings-Jaufen are about 30 to 35 kilometres away from our mountain lodge and provide the necessary variety for your winter holiday. With the bus, which stops directly in front of the mountain lodge, you can easily reach the ski areas.
Endless fun in the snow
Winter fans are offered a lot of fun and action in Natz-Schabs: ski along the high Alpine pastures or in the side valleys of the Eisacktal over perfectly groomed cross-country trails, whiz down one of the 40 natural toboggan runs, or go on a dreamlike snowshoe hike in the pleasant winter sun. We recommend a leisurely winter hike from Natz to Raas. Soak up the sight of the sugar-dusted mountain giants and breathe in the fresh winter air.
